Starfleet Special Forces(SFSF) is the task force of Starfleet. Is is designed to run covert, and intelligence gathering, missions. They operate right out of Earth, and are stationed in San Francisco, California..

History
Special Forces has had a rocky, yet successful history. It was founded by Head of Intelligence Admiral Rachel Garrett, now head of Starfleet. It was put under the command of Admiral Charles Drake, which is flourished, being at it's peak, when it reached four fleets of ships. In early 2373 Drake resigned, and command was given to Captain Fletcher Mannison. After a few months, while Mannison was just getting his feet wet, Starfleet decided to dissolve the fleet. Later, Garrett reinstated the fleet, putting Noah Cook in charge. With Cook's long absence from WBS, the Captains abandoned the fleet, leaving in completely vacant. Later, after Garret became head of Starfleet and the conclusion of the Cold War with the Coalition, Garrett reinstalled Mannison as head. Now, a month and a half later, the fleet currently has 13 ships and Project Archangel at it's disposal. Mannison has recently resigned from the fleet, putting his second-in-command, Jonathan DeKahn in charge.

Currently the Fleet is under the Command of Commodore Pattern Spider, and is not at full capacity, due to many transfers, changes in management, etc. However we will soon work these problems out, and will be up to standard in no time.
